MICHAEL ALLEY
This work stems from a fascination with photographing crowds, deconstructing the public spaces and structures they inhabit, and highlighting the deep connection we have to our environments. Much of my practice revolves around abstracting and manipulating the monolithic structures that populate our cities, visually highlighting notions of isolation and solitude while simultaneously relinquishing control to the chaos of urban public spaces.
